You can factor by grouping when the polynomial has four terms, but no single GCF. You should be able to arrange the terms into two groups, each with a unique GCF. When you factor the two groups you'll have the same pair of terms left. 25x³ + 5x² + 30x + 6 (25x³ + 5x²) + (30x + 6) GCF of first group is 5x² and for second group it's 6. 5x²(5x + 1) + 6(5x + 1) Now there's a gcf of (5x + 1) so we can write (5x + 1)(5x² + 6)
