If x =2, y = 12 according to the table. That gives us the ordered pair (2,12) If x =6, y =4 according to the table. That gives us the ordered pair (6,4) Use this equation to find the slope which is called m: \[m=\frac{y _{2}-y _{1}}{x _{2}-x _{1}}\]
