How do I know what is the correct equation? I have a graphing calculator.

r = 2 + 2 sin θ r = 3 + sin θ r = 1 + 3 cos θ r = 1 + 3 sin θ

Limacon with inner loop \( \huge 0< a < b\) \( \huge r = a \pm b \cos \theta \) and \( \huge r = a \pm b \cos \theta \) By knowing those rules, we can rule out these two. r = 2 + 2 sin θ and r = 3 + sin θ. These are not the answer r = 2 + 2 sin θ and r = 3 + sin θ So that leaves us with only two left, which are r = 1 + 3 cos θ and r = 1 + 3 sin θ Well, since the graph is symmetric with the y axis, that means the answer is going to be r = 1 + 3 sin θ
