A square is created. But what 3-dimensional shape can a square make when it is rotated about the y-axis? I know that when a rectangle is rotated about the y-axis, it creates a cylinder. Does this also apply to squares?

i am going to guess a cylinder, but that is just a guess sorry i cannot be of more help
