OCW Scholar - Single Variable Calculus 20 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi, im new to this, looking to further my learning for single variable calculus as I want to start a mechanical engineering degree next year, silly question- where do I go to get material to study? All I can see is a question board..

OpenStudy (phi):

18.01SC is single-variable calculus designed for self-study. http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-01sc-single-variable-calculus-fall-2010/

Phi is correct. To elaborate Open Study is a forum for group study and places like the MIT OpenCourseWare is a place to the study materials. MIT OCW is called a MOOC (see links below). Open Study is a place for people using those and other materials to work together. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massive_open_online_course https://www.mooc-list.com/
