FAN AND MEDAL 1. A metallic surface emits electrons when it is irradiated with a blue color light source. What happens to the emission of the electrons if one blue color light source is replaced by two? The speed of electrons would increase. The speed of electrons would decrease. The number of electrons emitted would increase. The number of electrons emitted would decrease.

The number of electrons emitted would increase.

OpenStudy (dan815):

the speed of the electron depends on the frequency or energy applied to the electron to displace it form the metal

youre the best!! @dan815

OpenStudy (dan815):

when the light remains blue, the frequency of the light is the same, but when there are 2 sources there is more light so more electrons can be hit, but they will always eject at the same energy level

thanks, i try
