List the intercepts, vertex, and axis of symmetry for each quadratic function whose graph is shown. Help please !

OpenStudy (lilmike234):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (lilmike234):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The intercept are where the lines crosses the x axis and the vertex is at the center of the the loop.

OpenStudy (lilmike234):

So the intercepts are (-3,0) (1,0) right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes for the first graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where is the vertex for the first graph? Remember it is the point on the line that is center of the loop. Also the axis of symmetry crosses it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first graph, the vertex is at (-1,-4) and the axis of symmetry is at -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you finish the second graph?

OpenStudy (lilmike234):

Yeah I think so I came up with the intercepts being (0,0) (5,0) the vertex (1,5) and the axis of symmetry 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The vertex is at (2.5, 4.5) the intercepts are at (0,0) and (5,0) and the axis of symmetry is at 2.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops vertex at (2.5, 5)

OpenStudy (lilmike234):

Thank you
