Find the center that eliminates the linear terms in the translation of:
4x^2 - 25y^2 - 8x - 100y - 196= 0.
A) (1, 2)
B) (-1, 2)
C) (1, -2)
Can you please explain how to do it, my notes didn't explain how to do these types of problems.
