HELP!! WILL GET MEDAL! FILE ATTACHED
A clothing manufacturer spends $300 on materials for a new t-shirt. The company makes 100 t-shirts and sells the first 20 of them for $25 each. Then, they place them on sale for $18 each and sell another 40 t-shirts. They sell the remainder at an end-of-year discount sale for $5 each. The piecewise function represents the total sales of the t-shirts while the line represents the total costs of the t-shirts. What does the point P represent? P represents the point at which the company broke even; they made as much as they spent. P doesn't have any meaning in terms of the problem; it is just a point on the graph. P represents the point at which the company changed to selling the t-shirts for $5 each. P represents the point at which the company changed to selling the t-shirts for $18 each.
