Use the GCF of the terms to write the expression as the product of two factors with integer coefficients. -2x3 - 4x2 + 4x

OpenStudy (aric200):

Do you mean -2x^3 - 4x^2 + 4x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. x(-2x2 - 4x + 4) B. -2x(x2 + 2x - 2) C. x(-2x2 + 2x - 2) D. -2x(-2x2 + 2x - 2) i believe the answer is D. but im not possitive

OpenStudy (aric200):

How did you come up with D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2x(-2x^2-2x-2) =-2x^3-4x^2+4x honestly not sure if I did it correctly

OpenStudy (aric200):

Find the GCF, The GCF=-2x Just Factor out -2x to get -2x(x^2+2x-2)

OpenStudy (aric200):

So it would be B. B. -2x(x2 + 2x - 2) It would be good if you put ^ to represent to the power in the future.
