OpenStudy (sebaxtiangb):

need the equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do they give you the equations?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so what you are being asked to do is find the point where p(x) and f(x) intersect..

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

part B: find the equation of the line by finding the slope and the y-intercept you could say the y- intercept is y = -5.75

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

that's correct for A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i ment the value for the functions (e.g. f(x)=x^2 )

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

for part C find where p(x) and g(x) intersect

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

for part B it looks to me, that you just need to name 2 points that are on the line f(x)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so find nice points where the line passes through the grid I'd say (-7, 3) is one point

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

and you could use the point if intersection from part A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok....... r u sure thats it for part b?
