How can you express (12 + 30) as a multiple of a sum of whole numbers with no common factor?

OpenStudy (radar):

I don't understand what is desired for this problem. 12 + 30 = 42 and can be expressed as 6(4 + 3) where 4 and 3 has no common factor or maybe 2(10 + 11) just don't get it.

OpenStudy (radar):

What kind of examples that show aq solution have you studied?

OpenStudy (radar):

*aq "a"
