I think the reason that it's only give one medal is to prevent medal spam or medal parties to get a higher smart score.

how you worked it out to get it..i'm a visual learner..so it helped to see it worked out &be shown..it takes time for me to learn things but fortunately you have SOME people on here who will bare with slower learners just so they get it. once i saw it worked out i got a better understanding of it. once i said i get it then i get it. i don't lie if i needed any further help i simply would have asked them. @hwyl

it really does..i'm horrible with math &even though sometimes i want to throw my hands up &calls quits i still try my best to understand things. it helps to see it worked or explained to me. in school teachers never took their time to explain what i needed to know. but it honestly is helpful to meet people who will take their time &be patient to actually make sure someone gets it. @saseal
