How did the Arabian Peninsula’s location affect ability to trade? Trade was quite widespread because agriculture was so expansive. The location was so isolated that trade was nearly impossible. Its proximity to Africa and India made trade quite successful. People lived far from the coastal plains, so trade was minimal.
