Equation H: y = −x + 2 Equation J: y = 3x − 4 Which of the following steps can be used to find the solution to the set of equations? −x = 3x − 4 −x +2 = 3x −x + 2 = 3x − 4 −x + 1 = 3x + 2

OpenStudy (mrnood):

you have 2 equations beginning "y=" so for instance y=a y=b you could write a=b so take the expression for y from the first equation and substitute it for "y" in the second
