*** Will give medal and fan*** A baseball player has been improving every season since making it to the big leagues. Below is a table of the runs he has scored. His manager wants to try to determine when he will score 243 runs. Season Runs 1 3 2 9 3 27 Explain how to create the exponential function that represents his run-scoring abilities. Then explain how to convert this function into a logarithmic function and why this can help the manager answer his question.

OpenStudy (guccidothedishes):

what I have so far season = log_3^243 Season 5: 3^5 = 243 runs

@Nnesha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its correct

OpenStudy (guccidothedishes):

Is that all I need for my answer ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no they want exponential function also i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they want both exp and log

OpenStudy (guccidothedishes):

how do I do that ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\log_{3} 243 =5\] now we move the numbers around and we can get the exponential form \[3^5=243\] which means the same thing

Thank you :)
