The answer is A.)... And here's why: in the phrase "the fish was pulled onto the boat", the fish (the subject) is not actively performing any action. In this phrase, the fish is being passively drawn onto the boat, and is not itself doing anything active. In "B", the people stand to watch.... In "C", everyone cheered, and the sun dipped... And in "D", you go, and you must try. All action verbs, all performed by the subjects.
