I have a couple of questions I completely don't understand

second one:- because BD is joining the 2 midpoints
side AE = 2 * BD

so
4x = 20 = 2(3x + 5)


solve for x

For the first one the diagram shows that the triangle has two congruent sides which means that they are the same length. so that means that the angle has to be somewhere around 34 so x has a range between 15-17
