I think they have given you all the information you need to solve this one easily. Look at the part where it tells you the areas of each of the three triangles. From what I can see it looks like, 10.2, 11.5, and 16.3. These are the same triangles in the picture. You just need to add the three numbers together to get the total area.

Well, yes. There is no formula to solve the area of that weird shape. And why else would they have told you the areas of the triangles? If you have three pieces of pizza, and you measure each of their areas, then you know that no matter how you rearrange those pizzas, the total area will just be the sum.
They basically just put three puzzle pieces together and want to know the total area. :)
