(-9w^4 + 7w^2)/-w I need help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you trying to simplify this, or what do you need help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have to divide binomials and monomials

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can split this up into parts, e.g. the first part is as follows

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ -9w ^{4} }{ -w } = 9w ^{3}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then do the division for 7w^2...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem. remember to be careful when dividing negatives - they cancel out, otherwise the sign switches.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
