@pooja195

Mehek (mehek14):

if you plug in 6 for x you get \(4*6-5=19\) correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thaats correct

Mehek (mehek14):

ok so the sign ≤ means EQUAL to or less than so 19 is = 19?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

Mehek (mehek14):

in the other one, you have < which means less than can 19 be < 19?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya so whats the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

Mehek (mehek14):

ok so it's true for the first one because the sign ≤ means equal to or less than and 19 = 19. However, in the other one, the sign is < which means less than and 19 can't be less than 19

Mehek (mehek14):

does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya so thats the answer

Mehek (mehek14):

yes
