What does bisect mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OB is a bisector, so that means AOB = BOC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then AOC = AOB + BOC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So you're saying BOC = 53degrees :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you did then wouldn't that mean i could multiply 53 by 6 and get 360

OpenStudy (anonymous):

53 x 6 is 318

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes BOC = 53

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you don't have to multiply by 6. Add the two 53° angles to get AOC

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks :)
