OpenStudy (sepeario):

I need some help on indices please.

OpenStudy (sepeario):

\[\frac{ 1 }{ \sqrt{x-1} } +\sqrt{x-1}\]

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well you can rewrite \[\sqrt{x -1} = \sqrt{x -1} \times \frac{\sqrt{x -1}}{\sqrt{x -1}}\] so \[\sqrt{x -1} = \frac{(\sqrt{x -1})^2}{\sqrt{x -1}}\] then you will have 2 fractions with the same denominator and be able to add them

OpenStudy (sepeario):

thanks man ^^
