OpenStudy (anonymous):

i put 3x6x6x6 but i got it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Explain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The surface area is the sum of all of the faces. Since they are all squares 3x3 and there are 6 of them, you should be able to see which answer matches.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i figured it was 3x6x6x6 i wanna know why its not that

OpenStudy (lynfran):

as we can see here that all are 3x3 so if we find the area of 1 of the figure we can add them up so 3*3=9 ...thats the area for 1 of the figure.. and they are a total of 9 figure so whats 9*6=? then find its equivalent to ur options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh 54 so it would = 6x3x3

OpenStudy (lynfran):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i see it now Thank you @LynFran

OpenStudy (lynfran):

welcome
