the most important feature, is that the numbers of emitted electrons depends on the frequency of the incident radiation, and not on the intensity of that radiation

the photoelectric effet show the particle nature of radiation, since as EInstein proposed, it is composed by particles, namely photons, whose energy is proportional to the frequency of that radiation
