\[\ge \] greater than or equal to sign so \[\huge\rm 2(x-1) \ge -12\] now here you can divide both sides by 2 or you can distribute parentheses by 2 better to divide by 2 both sides
and then solve for x
remember when you divide or multiply by negative number then you should flip the inequality sign
