A- For every one cup of yellow paint, Garcia added four cups of red paint, which is a ratio of 4:1. B- For one cup of red paint, 1/4 cup of yellow paint should be used, because of the ratio 4 red:1 yellow. C- $42 / 6 = $7 per cup of red paint.
