OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

A better way for explaining the rule about nitrogen (in my opinion your way does it fine though) remove all nitrogen and for every nitrogen you take away take away a hydrogen as well As for the unsaturation factors I got were: 1) 3 2) 2 3) 1 4) 1

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

That was nice.... @taramgrant0543664 All your answers are correct.... Awesome! :)

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

Thanks it's been awhile since I did that so it was a nice refresher. One other thing this seems very specific but there are other rules as well depending on the case like if it's a ring it counts as 1 for example

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

Ofcourse... I will upload that in my second Part. This was the first part.... Will definitely ask questions @taramgrant0543664 ;)

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

Sounds good!

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

Good job on that first part though!!

OpenStudy (aaronq):

what is this ("unsaturation factor") used for?

OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):

@aaronq For calculation of how the structure of a compund is..... I guess
