What is there measure of AB when m>P= 84? http://i.imgur.com/n903urj.png

OpenStudy (-welp-):

help

OpenStudy (danjs):

If you have two tangents to a circle intersect at an angle... the formula here is \[P = \frac{ 1 }{ 2 }(ALB - AB)\]

OpenStudy (danjs):

They gave you P=84 You can substitute ALB = 360 - AB

OpenStudy (danjs):

84 = (1/2)*(360 - 2*AB) there you can figure AB

OpenStudy (-welp-):

I still don't understand. How am I supposed to figure out AB with that formula

OpenStudy (danjs):

84 = 180 - AB AB = 96
