@Mehek14

Mehek (mehek14):

\(0.5^2=0.25\\12*0.25=\)

OpenStudy (irishboy123):

go again if i'm reading you right..... then if \(s = 1/ 2 \) unit then \(A = 12s^2 =12 (\frac{1}{2})^2\) \(units^2\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mehek14 36

Mehek (mehek14):

no \((\dfrac{1}{2})^2=\dfrac{1}{4}\) so divide 12/4 = 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the answer isnt 12? @Mehek14

Mehek (mehek14):

no it's 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see

Mehek (mehek14):

yes u square 1/2 and you get 1/4 and the you can multiply 12 * 1/4 or just divide 12/4 both will give you 3
