Factor completely -6m2 + 18m – 36.
Do you want me to show step by step just to check your answers or actually explain how to do the method?
Check my answer?
Okay hold on.
I got -1(6m^2-18m+36)
You have to factor the problem to get two equations instead of one. You just took out a negative 1.
so i have to?
find two ways to factor it?
im confused
You don't need to find 2 ways to factor it. The end result will give 2 equations.
Use the quadratic formula to help you factor the equation. This is the link for the quadratic formula calculator: http://www.math.com/students/calculators/source/quadratic.htm
thanks
When it says what A B and C equals, you need to use the numbers in the equation. In this case A=-6 B=18 and C=-36
Write that in the calculator and you should get your answer. :)
You're welcome!
Sorry I just noticed that it doesn't give you an answer since the answers are imaginary answers so here's another calculator that can solve imaginary answers: http://www.mathwarehouse.com/quadratic/quadratic-formula-calculator.php
@SpooderWoman
