Why were the Israelite kings David and Solomon important? David was the father of the Israelites, and Solomon united the tribes of Israel. David made Jerusalem a great city, and Solomon encouraged trade with Egypt. David made Jerusalem his capital city, and Solomon built a large temple in Jerusalem. David delivered the Ten Commandments, and Solomon conquered retriceria.
