Significant Figures on adding,subtracting, dividing and multiplying: I know there is a difference on what to look for to account for the significant figures you write for your answer but I forgot what it is.

You go by the number that has the last digit to be in the largest place value. For example,|dw:1438898216067:dw|
The 24.32 has its last digit (farthest right) in the hundredths place.
The 148.9 has its last digit in the tenths place.
Tenths is a larger place value than hundredths so we round to the tenths.
