natural selection is when a species evolves to suit the environment and predators and the weaker non evolutionized species die out. For instance different birds have different shaped beaks for collecting food. If they live in a certain area they will adjust to the surroundings however not all of them are like that and will suffer death

Its part of darwins theory the strong survive and the weak die out. So the adapting species live while the old ones die out
