First paragraph
-led to creation of Civil Rights Act of 1964
-limited discrimination
-limited segregation
-better voting registration
-taught Americans that everyone is equal even if they have a different color,religion,sex,race etc.
-slavery did not come back and increased white American respect towards African American
-led to boycotts and protesting for better rights

Second paragraph
-racism still exist
-African Americans are judged (stereotypes)
-police brutality toward African American still exists
-discriminated at some factors
