How do the y values of y = f(x) compare to the y values of y = |f(x)|?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think their gonna be positive instead

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk if thats right but thats what i would put

zepdrix (zepdrix):

well realize that some of the f(x) values might be positive also. So ummm... hmm let's think about what they're asking..

zepdrix (zepdrix):

It's going to make ALL OF the f(x) values positive, ya? That seems like a fair description.. hmm

zepdrix (zepdrix):

ya i dunno exactly what they want you to say :) just make sure you include that word "all". all of the f(x) values will be positive instead of their normal sign.
