I thought it was the one that said a quick fix, but I'm not sure. I thought it was the second one because he hadn't really thought in depth about how the energy drink will affect his health and himself

An energy drink is considered a quick fix to a problem and most people continue to drink them because they normally hit a wall after a little bit because they are right back at where they started or are worse
