find \[\emptyset +\sigma . where \emptyset;R ^3 {\rightarrow}R \] and defined by emptyset(x,y,z)=2x-3y+z and sigma(x,y,z)=4x-2y+3z

@zzr0ck3r

where \[\sigma;R^3 \rightarrow R\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would you add the two functions? \( \emptyset +\sigma \) = (2x-3y+z) + (4x-2y+3z)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6x -5y + 4z

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

I agree with @jayzdd

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

and i was confusing thinking about this :\

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Just really convoluted way of saying \((f+g)(x) = f(x) + g(x)\).

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

Also, I am almost positive you mean \(\theta \) not \(\emptyset\). The first is Theta, and the second is the emptyset

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it seems kind of odd to label a function using the empty set notation. maybe phi

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

beat me to it :)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

great minds ...

thanks guys
