Developments in which of these industries made important contributions to improvements in the transportation system in the United States during the second half of the 19th century? petroleum steel mining aviation
@KAKES1967 @vera_ewing I think the answer could be aviation. But I am not really sure though. Can you help me out?
@sammixboo Can you help me out please?
Well aviation was not developed until 1903, which is the 20th century. You can rule that off.
Steel and mining dont make too much sense.
Petroleum is used for fuel. What do you think about that choice?
@happyrosy
basically the first one was textile then come steam and after that steel so according to your option its steel
Textiles was Europe. Steel is the U.S as far as industrial revolution goes transportation is probably an effect of an industrial revolution but petroleum wouldn't surprise me either. If it's an essay you could make the case for steel.
Yeah steel was the correct answer
