OpenStudy (surryyy):

ok thank u.

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

So as far as the knowledge i have earned from wikipedia is that a standard industrial classification is a system for classifying industries by a four-digit code, and it was started in the US. The first 3 digits of the SIC code indicate the industry group, and the first two digits indicate the major group.

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

For example : 0100 till 0999 indicate Agri, Forestry and fishing

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

1000 till 1499 is the division Mining

OpenStudy (surryyy):

ok thank u!

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

Is it satisfactory?

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

This is the current system in United States

OpenStudy (shreehari499):

OpenStudy (surryyy):

OpenStudy (shreehari499):
