ok what about it
OpenStudy (sebaxtiangb):
okay
OpenStudy (anonymous):
mean = average
median = halfway through the set
mode = most common number in the set
OpenStudy (anonymous):
does that help?
OpenStudy (sebaxtiangb):
The mean is the average of the numbers. It is easy to calculate: add up all the numbers, then divide by how many numbers there are. In other words it is the sum divided by the count.

The median is also the number that is halfway into the set. To find the median, the data should first be arranged in order from least to greatest.

OpenStudy (sebaxtiangb):
The mode is the value that appears most often in a set of data. The mode of a discrete probability distribution is the value x at which its probability mass function takes its maximum value. In other words, it is the value that is most likely to be sampled.
