In a cookie jar, for every cookie without nuts, there are 2 cookies with nuts. There are 9 cookies in the jar. How many cookies with nuts are in the jar?

So basically every three cookies, there is one without nuts and 2 with nuts. We have 9, so 3 sets of 3. We will have 6 with nuts and 3 without nuts. Hope this helps.
