What is the domain of the following parabola? u-shaped graph that opens down with a vertex of 2, 3 x ≥ 2 x ≤ −1 y ≤ 3 All real numbers

OpenStudy (lalaland_lauren):

OpenStudy (lochana):

are you sure it is domain ? not co-domain?

OpenStudy (lalaland_lauren):

Yeah, it says domain :/

OpenStudy (lochana):

domain is always x values. values of x which makes y values. If x doesn't make y . that x does not count in domain

OpenStudy (lalaland_lauren):

So what, it'd be D? Since there's no option that correlates with what you said

OpenStudy (lochana):

yeah. I think it can be D. But I am not sure about it. I can't prove If am asked. however, I can say -1<x<5 is the domain since I can see it in the picture

OpenStudy (lalaland_lauren):

Okay, thanks :)

OpenStudy (lochana):

:)
