Which of the following is not considered a cause of the Enlightenment? increased availability of printed books the Scientific Revolution decline in the education system the Renaissance
@jagr2713
Sounds like a AP Euro type question.
no World History
Eh close enough, Renaissance and scientific revolution were definitely causes of the enlightenment.
oh i did this question couple days ago
The enlightenment was a upper and middle class movement the lower class was not involved. That being said I don't know how a decline in education would cause the enlightenment which was a secular scientific movement focusing. I've also never heard of any increase in publishing power around that time so in my mind it's between A and C
Take a look here @FEARLESS_JOCEY ' https://apeurohist.wikispaces.com/CAUSES+AND+EFFECTS+OF+THE+ENLIGHTENMENT+PERIOD+4
