Kurt's truck uses 10 gallons of gas to travel 150 miles. He has 5 gallons in the tank. How much more gas will he need to drive 345 miles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15 miles per gallon, so he needs 18 gallons more to get there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

345 divided by 15 because 15 miles is one gallon.(The number you get is the total number of gallons you need) Then subtract by 5 because you already have 5 gallons.
