I can't see your curve, as it needs a user name and password to log in. I'd suggest you clip the image and attach it as a file

it does, so if a vertical line or ruler is moved from left to right, it will only cut the curve once... does that make sense
so it does pass the vlt right so my answer is wrong right and yes it makes since
