A. Write a function that shows grams as a function of cups. Use g(x). g(x) = 128x. C. Graph the relationship between the number of cups and grams of flour. I NEED HELP WITH PART C.
First thing you have to do is define your x and y axis
It's pretty much already stated, the number of cups is the independent variable so the x axis the y axis will represent the amount of grams as that is the dependent variable
To do the actual graph you can plug in numbers to your equation, g(x) For example, When x=1, g(x)=128 And continue When x=2, g(x)=? X=3 ... Do a few and draw your line as it should be linear
And just to clarify, I don't think I need to say it but I will just in case X=1 cup, g(x)=128g
x=2, g(x)=256...etc?
I don't know how to graph it tbh. @taramgrant0543664
Yes x=2 , g(x)=256 You can also find X=3 X=4 X=5
I can do that but it's the graphing that I don't get lol D:. I'm not good with graphing
To actually graph it you have 1 cup is equal to 128g on your graph you will move to the 1 spot on the x axis so horizontally and then move vertically until you get to 128 For the second one you go to the 2 spot on the x axis then you go vertically up until you reach 256 I don't know how well that explanation is but I hope it helps!!
This helped me. Thank you! :)
Happy to hear! No problem!
