http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/50cfa384e4b06d78e86d57b5 Please answer this one ;D @taramgrant0543664
They both copy genetic code by forming a complementary sequence of nucleotides with an existing strand of DNA.
@taramgrant0543664 Thank you so much ;D
No problem!
@taramgrant0543664 I have a quick question for you, can you explain what a point mutation is?
It's a mutation that when looking at the gene sequence only one or a few nucleotides are changed/effected
So if the question was this: If a point mutation occurs in a body cell so that the original sequence of mRNA of CGA changes to AGA, what will be the likely consequence? And the possible choices were: The mutation will cause a translocation to occur. The mutation will cause a change in the individual but it will not be inherited. The mutation will be inherited by the offspring. The mutation will not cause any change in the individual and it will not be inherited. It would be B right? @taramgrant0543664
@taramgrant0543664 One more, and ill be done for now ;D Can you please answer this question http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/53b560bae4b09f140ca55091
I believe that one would be B like you had said
@taramgrant0543664 Thank you! Can you review the link that I posted real quick. After this I think I shall be finished for the night. May do one more test.
You do realize that we aren't suppose to help with tests?
@taramgrant0543664 Its a pretest not a test. Its just because if I finish these and get good grades on them, my teacher may exempt me from doing assignments in the module.
@taramgrant0543664 If you don't want to answer it, its fine though. Thank you for all your help, I really appreciate it!!!!!
