Graph y=2radical x+4 -1 Then find the domain/range

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1439260698793:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, what about the domain/range?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

sorry that is a wrong graph, please look at this https://www.desmos.com/calculator/sdkuybgcbd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's okay :) And I did

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Notice that the graph is not going beyond -4 on left hand side |dw:1439261013890:dw|

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

so the domain is \(x\ge -4\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, and the range?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

for range, look at the graph from `bottom to top`

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you can see that the graph is not going below -1, so the range is \(y\ge -1\)

Thank-you so much! :D
