OpenStudy (mrnood):

think about for instance \[(x ^{2})^{3}\] = \[(x *x) (x*x) (x*x) = x ^{6}\] so you multiply the indices in this case

OpenStudy (mrnood):

in general terms \[x ^{a ^{b}}=x ^{ab}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh I get it

OpenStudy (mrnood):
